1. Overview

SiteForge AI (“SiteForge”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-powered website builder. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, onboarding flow, editor, and publishing services (together, the “Service”), why we collect it, and the choices you have.

By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Data we collect

Account data: when you sign in (e.g. via Google OAuth) we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from the identity provider.

Content you provide: the business descriptions, prompts, and plain-English commands you type, and the website content (text, images, settings) you create or edit with the Service.

Usage data: interactions with the editor, feature usage, and approximate timestamps, used to operate and improve the Service.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and diagnostic logs collected automatically when you access the Service.

Billing data: if you upgrade to a paid plan, payment details are processed by our payment processor; we never store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use your data

To provide the Service: generating, editing, hosting, and publishing your websites.

To improve the Service: understanding which features are used, diagnosing errors, and improving generation quality.

To communicate with you: transactional emails (receipts, security notices) and, with your consent, product updates.

To secure the Service: detecting abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use the content of your private drafts to train third-party foundation models.

4. AI processing

Your business descriptions and editing commands are sent to AI model providers strictly to generate the output you requested. These providers process the data on our behalf under data-processing agreements and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Generated output may occasionally be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing content before publishing it.

5. When we share data

Service providers: hosting, analytics, payment processing, and AI inference vendors that process data on our behalf under contract.

Published sites: content you choose to publish is publicly accessible by design — that is the point of the Service.

Legal requirements: where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. Retention & deletion

We keep your account and website data for as long as your account is active. Unpublished drafts are retained so you can resume editing; you may delete them at any time from the dashboard.

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us. We delete or anonymize data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records).

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@siteforge.ai. We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and audit logging to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

9. International transfers & children

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes & contact

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Service or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will change.
